Description
One hot sunny day Lizard is sunning himself on the wall of a house on Cayman Brac when he notices a window that has been left open. He climbs inside and looks around his
new kingdom with interest. Suddenly he is interrupted by a loud buzzing mosquito and feeling hungry for a
tasty snack he lies in wait for it to come closer. As the buzzing grows louder Lizard leaps up onto a table containing sheets of paper and pots of paint. He flicks
his tongue out at the approaching mosquito, misses, but accidentally dips his tail into a pot of blue paint. Lizard?s colourful attempts to catch the mosquito are
hilarious and very messy.
Beautifully illustrated by Petrina Wright, this unusual story of the appealing little lizard and the
naughty mosquito will amuse both children and adults of all ages.
